Product Description

Integrated MBR Sewage Treatment System

Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) is a new processing technology that introduces a membrane unit into traditional biological sewage treatment. The membrane separation unit replaces the traditional secondary sedimentation pool function, allowing for the efficient removal of organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus. It is currently one of the most advanced water treatment technologies available.

Based on enhanced hollow fiber UF membranes, our high-end MBR membrane group features high mechanical strength, stable water quality, high flux operation, and a long service life, making it the ideal core equipment for the MBR process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the main advantage of MBR over traditional treatment? A: MBR replaces secondary sedimentation tanks with membrane filtration, resulting in a much smaller footprint, superior effluent quality (zero suspended solids), and higher resistance to organic loading fluctuations.
Q2: What is the typical lifespan of the MBR membrane? A: Under normal operating conditions and with proper maintenance/cleaning, the hollow fiber membranes typically last 5 years or more.
Q3: Can the system be customized for specific industrial wastewater? A: Yes, the system configuration, membrane material (PVDF/PES/PAN), and total filtration area can be customized based on the specific influent water characteristics and required output standards.
Q4: What are the maintenance requirements for the membranes? A: Regular maintenance includes backwashing and occasional chemical cleaning (CIP) using acid or alkaline solutions to remove scaling and organic fouling.
Q5: Is the produced water safe for reuse? A: Absolutely. The effluent typically has a turbidity of less than 0.3 NTU and SDI less than 4, making it suitable for irrigation, industrial cooling, or as feed water for RO systems.
Q6: What is the pore size of your hollow fiber membranes? A: Our standard MBR membranes feature a pore size ranging from 0.03 to 0.1 µm, which effectively filters out bacteria and most pathogens.
